We are well experienced with Customs, Immigration & Port Health procedures to expedite Reporting and Clearance of all types of vessels in the shortest time possible. Because of our Communications capabilities, we do not have to depend on third party support and can communicate with masters of vessels well in advance of their ETA’s.

 

Richard’s first hand experience with the various Ports in Guyana and their draft limitations, enables him to provide knowledgeable advice to masters pertaining to same, thus avoiding any unwanted mishaps and loss of time.

 

Our association with the Harbor Master’s & Chief Pilot’s offices also permits us to acquire Pilot’s services which are often needed when Break Bulk Vessels have to load at outlying ports in the Essequibo, Berbice & Corentyne rivers.

Our experienced and courteous team of marketing and sales personnel solicit inward and outward cargo, FCL, LCL and Break Bulk for our major principals with vessels calling Guyana to and from their various ports of call. We are also able to offer this service to other carriers who have CCA’s with them that do not conflict in any way, this benefits all parties involved by the resulting increase of volumes transported and provides us with the tools to answer most enquiries.

 

In this very competitive age we do every thing possible to make our customers feel at home and comfortable at our Office located at 110 Laluni Street, Queenstown, Georgetown  which can be accessed quite easily. Our doors are always open and without exception we find the time to listen and attend to the needs of our valued patrons.

In partnership with one of our major principals, SeaFreight Agencies Inc., we operate a fleet of six Mack Haulers with a compliment of 20 x 20 Ft, 15 x 40 Ft Trailers & 02 x 40 Ft Flat Beds registered under the name of SeaFreight Transport Guyana Ltd.

 

Locations which cannot be accessed by road and for which transport by sea and/or river is more efficient and less costly, we employ coasters 200 Tons upward to take care of onward delivery of import cargo.  These vessels are also used to facilitate timely delivery of exports to ships’ side for break bulk loading and to wharves for Containerization prior to vessels arrival.

Members of our staff are all equipped with individual E-mail addresses, part of our monitored network system. This serves to keep communication costs to a minimum and also provides management personnel with the ability to access and respond to mail away from the office.

 

We also own and operate Ship to Shore VHF and SSB Stations to facilitate 24 hour Communications with vessels when and if necessary. Our management teams carry Cell Phones to facilitate added accessibility.

 

In addition, we have a Motorola VHF system comprising of Base stations at Head Office and Truck Base. Installed radios in Company Vehicles & Mack Haulers and Hand-Held units which are used mainly when ships’ operations are being monitored.

The port of Georgetown consists of privately owned and controlled Facilities. These wharf operators who all provide Stevedoring services also serve as Shipping Agents to numerous Carriers. As independent Agents we are not bound to use any one of these facilities and can assist our principals in obtaining the best possible service at the most competitive price.

 

Our staff monitored from start to finish the discharging and reloading of vessels in order to provide independent and authentic reports.

We also offer stevedoring for Break Bulk shipments when needed.

We are presently considering the acquisition of properties in the vicinity of outlying ports to set up offices to service Break Bulk Vessels and also attend to the needs of Consignees and shippers of FCL & LCL cargo.
